Mountain Madness

Napa Valley is flanked by the Mayacamas and the Vacas mountain ranges. The vineyards on these hillsides produce some of the most prized wines in Napa.

Growing grapes on these terroirs can be absolute madness,
but that’s also what makes them so fascinating. On this tour you will spend a day visiting 3 different wineries who specialize in cultivating exceptional wines from these terroirs.

You will see the hillside vineyards, learn about how the grapes are grown, and the wines are made. These are some of the most age worthy wines in America. You will enjoy private visits and premium tastings.

YOUR TYPICAL DAY GOES LIKE THIS

You will visit 3 wineries and enjoy a fabulous food and wine pairing lunch at one of the wineries, all included in the tour. We like to start the day at Spring Mountain Vineyards on the hillside a few minutes west of St. Helena. This is one of Napa’s best kept secrets and you can marvel at the vineyards, old cellars dug out of the mountainside, and enjoy the classic wines. Stony Hill is a favorite for lunch. We like to wrap up at Chappellet on Pritchard Hill, on the east side of the valley and a producer famed for ageworthy wines. However, appointments are subject to availability. We will ensure you have a fantastic day wherever we take you.
